A professor of the university who spoke on the basis of anonymity told Pressmen that "she will be suspended, there is no two ways about it".
he further said that the suspect Chidimma Ojukwu will to be suspended based on the outcome of the Police investigation.
The 300 level student of the Mass Communication Department, University of Lagos was arrested at her residence at Alagomeji Yaba on Thursday and was paraded at the State Police Command Headquarters Ikeja Lagos State where she confessed to the stabbing of late Ataga.
21 years old Chidimma confessed to the stabbing of the CEO of super TV while she was under the influence of alcohol and in self-defence. She further made known to Pressmen that she took his ATM card and withdrew the total sum of N380,000 using an ATM machine.
The departmental head of Mass Communication University of Lagos, Joseph Tejumaiye disclosed to Pressmen that Chidimma will be suspended according to the the stipulation of the University's handbook for undergraduate.
Officials of the University of Lagos Public Relation and Student Affairs Unit confirmed that Chidimma may be suspended.
