4 Things You Can Do As a Parent To Help Your Kids Be Better

Continued

Show and Express to Your Kids How Much You Love Them.

There is a yearning in every child for love, 'never allow your kids leave in an assumption that you love them because that will push them into seeking for that love elsewhere'.

According to Dr. Gary Chapman,"there is a void in every man or woman who has never heard the words "I love you" from a father and mother", don't let that woman or man be your kid to whom you had a billion of opportunities to tell how much you love but failed to do so. Apart from saying the conventional  " I love you"  to your kids, find other ways of expressing it that speaks to the emotional need of your kid.

Every child (like adults) have what Dr Chapman calls "a love language" and you must as a parent learn to know your kid's language and speak it as often as possible. By so doing, you will build an emotionally fit and strong individual in him/her.

REMEMBER, effective parenting is a deliberate, calculated and skillfully planned responsibility
