Growing up and over the years, one if not everybody was admonished to speak rightly and constructively. We were reprimanded when we did not use words rightly, especially when relating to those of the older category. These reprimands informed greatly our use of words and has helped us distinguish the right from wrong use of words and how we use them.
Now, you just ponder and reflect on times when you used words rightly but not necessarily TIMELY, and remember the reaction you got from the other party even if it was not immediately....
But what was not really taught I must say is 'Timely Words'; Using words at the right time even if the words be right and positive. Some people, if not few get to learn this fact after they must have been exposed to interaction with the wider society, and have experienced for themselves the value of using words TIMELY.
So many people in all walks of life are faced with the challenge of using words TIMELY even if the words be right, and this has caused for sour in so many good relationships. Hmmmm, I for one had to learn this myself by experience. Now, you just ponder and reflect on times when you used words rightly but not necessarily TIMELY, and remember the reaction you got from the other party even if it was not immediately....
