Apart from home use, salt is said to be used in 14,000 different other ways; from the making of products as varied as plastic, paper, glass, polyester, rubber and fertilisers to household bleach, soaps, detergents and dyes. Yes! but the common use we know for salt is preservation and taste.
Now, let’s relate YOU to salt. ‘Do you know that you can be salt’. Sounds strange right? but yes you can be. You can be salt in every place you find yourself, be it in your family, work place, relationship, just anywhere you are.
COUNSEL: Be the reason why that family, relationship, organization is preserved, and amongst all, give taste to it. Add taste to it just how you want your meal to be tasty. Be innovative, inspiring, and fun…….
Make every thing around you taste
MORE:
In premitive societies, salt was used as preservatives amongst other things
Salt is used for cooking
Salt is for industrial use also
Salt does have MANY uses. But the first thing to clarify is what is to be preserved and why before determining how. Sometimes not everything can be preserved and some WILL have to wither and give way for the other, the world is a wasteful place.
ReplyDeleteEvery few days decisions are made on what to preserve and crucially why....should it be (1) family and relationships/friendships, (2) family and organisations or (3) organisation and relationships/friendships? It appears to be a simple choice but complications on how the non-preservable should wither is also an issue.
Nice point. What this piece actually admonishes to preserve are those things that SHOULD be preserved and are sincerely worth preserving.....But in all the piece admonishes one to be the spice in whatever he/she is in..be it family, organization friendship or relationship........
DeleteFurther more, when one identifies what is worth preserving, the why for the preservation will be better known by the person......
DeleteThe contention now is, many people have what they should preserve, be it family, relationship/friendship and so on, but they vehemently decide to be passive in it.....
So you don't have a preference or a criteria for choosing? Hmmm... That brings me to the ever so present question in your writings of purpose in life. How does one know this
DeleteLike I said in my piece, Purpose has is programmed even before one arrives this earth, and that purpose can be searched out by desire. One who wants to know his/her purpose should first desire to know it.
DeleteDesire to know ones purpose will further open a person up to what it is, and as this persons craves to know, he should pay close attention for he/she might be living out the purpose already.
DeleteAnd like I said, your dominant gift serves as a pointer to what your purpose in life is.For example the gift of singing points to one having the purpose of bringing joy to the hearts of people through music, and if this person should assume the assignment of impacting children with knowledge, will eventually fail....Knowing ones purpose in life gives a person 'a sense of belonging'
Deletewhat would be your choice/view?
